Shelley Sen, the name best known for new and unique collection. Based on her basic educational backgrounds in Art from Govt College of Art, University of Calcutta, Shelley started studying the traditional handcrafted items of Bengal. She then kept continuous vigil on the modern fashionable trend. There started her continuous and consistent search for combining the traditional designs of novelties with that of the latest fashions. Today, she has positioned herself in the mind of people living in India and abroad. She has been experimenting her art work on clothes, metals like bronze and silver, clay with terracotta, kantha, pot work and the needle work. Elegant oxidized silver ornaments studded with stones, are her specialties.
